Accounting concerns the keeping of financial records of business transactions and how to prepare statements concerning assets, liabilities and operating results. It’s a technical and numerical oriented field that involves economics, the interpretation of financial data and management skills.

Finance is the art and science of managing money. It concerns itself with the spending patterns of people, institutions, markets and even countries in the pursuit of generating wealth.

Accounting & finance graduates will be knowledgeable about commercial and investment banking, investments, forecasting and budgeting, asset and liability management, money, stocks and bonds and how markets function. And on a personal level, graduates will also learn how to determine what fraction of their own assets to invest in order to obtain the highest return for a justifiable level of risk.
